NJEA November Publication on The Marzano Causal Teacher Evaluation Model

The New Jersey Department of Education’s one-year teacher evaluation pilot program, titled Excellent Educators for New Jersey (EE4NJ), is an effort to make a major change in Teacher Evaluation in New Jersey.

This month, the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) looked at three models that four of the pilot districts selected, including the Marzano Causal Teacher Evaluation model.

The NJEA asked several experts about each model being used in New Jersey, including Learning Sciences’ Peggy Schooling, Ed. D, Director of Teaching, Learning and Development. Read the NJEA Article on the Marzano Causal Teacher Evaluation Model with Dr. Peggy Schooling for an overview of the model, how it is different and it’s use and effectiveness around the country. -View the article
