Dr. Marzano Discusses Research Base and Insights from New Studies

Learning Sciences International

Happy New Year!

With the new year comes new free webinars, and we have a very exciting one coming up with Dr. Marzano.

In this era of high-stakes teacher evaluations, it is critical to use a model that provides the greatest potential for helping classroom teachers improve their pedagogical skills and raise student achievement.

But what does the research say about your district evaluation model’s ability to help teachers make the greatest impact on student achievement?

The Marzano Causal Teacher Evaluation Model was designed to establish a direct causal link between the model’s pedagogical elements and student achievement. No other teacher effectiveness model or teacher evaluation model has subjected its components to such rigorous experimental control studies, all conducted by practicing teachers in real classrooms.

Research shows that when teachers adopt the pedagogical strategies within the Marzano Model, and steadily improve, their average student achievement will most likely increase.

In this free webinar, Dr. Robert Marzano joins Learning Sciences International as a co-presenter to provide an overview of his Causal Teacher Evaluation Model. Dr. Marzano discusses the comprehensive research on the model’s instructional strategies, conducted in 87 schools (representing 500 teachers) across the major subject areas in elementary, middle and high school classrooms.

Register online to attend this free webinar on Wednesday, January 18, at 3 PM EST.
