Dr. Marzano Webinar: Measuring and Improving Teacher Effectiveness Through Teacher Observation

Learning Sciences International

Dr. Robert Marzano

Classroom observations are one of the most significant aspects of the teacher evaluation process. Yet research has found little evidence of gains in student achievement as a result of using traditional classroom observation protocols. Inter-rater reliability and inconsistent usage of observation instruments have also been identified as critical issues impacting the effectiveness of teacher evaluation systems.

On the other hand, Dr. Robert Marzano’s Causal Teacher Evacuation was developed for higher levels of specificity and accuracy for inter-rater reliability empowering observers with the feedback tools to help teachers improve their instruction to raise student achievement.

In this free webinar, Dr. Marzano joins us as a co-presenter to provide an overview of the Marzano Causal Teacher Evaluation Model and explain how observers can more easily achieve accuracy in scoring and delivery of target feedback using the model’s innovative observation protocol.

Please note that this webinar is at 3pm Eastern time on November 22nd. Register Now
